Abu Dhabi, 2 May 2024 – The UAE National Pavilion is participating in the 18th edition of the Defense Services Asia (DSA) exhibition, which will take place from May 6 to 9 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The exhibition stands as one of the most prominent defense events in the region, bringing together 1200 of global companies specializing in the defense and security sector from over 60 nations. These companies showcase the latest products, technologies, and solutions in the field.

The UAE National Pavilion – held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Defense and Tawazun Council, and organized by the Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC) – will feature a number of leading UAE-based companies specializing in defense industries and technologies, including EDGE Group, Calidus, Advanced Armor Engineering (AAE), Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat), Avantguard Holding Limited, Darwish Bin Ahmed & Sons, and the Ministry of Defense’s “Al Jundi” magazine. Capital Events will also be present to showcase the upcoming IDEX 2025 international defense exhibition.

A wide range of advanced defense products and services, including electronic weapons systems, armored vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), air defense systems, communications, space and satellite systems, and training & simulation will be showcased at the pavilion.

The UAE’s participation in DSA 2024 reaffirms its commitment to supporting and strengthening international cooperation in defense and security, by highlighting defense products of UAE companies, exchanging expertise, and exploring global cooperation opportunities.

Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairwoman of the EDCC, said that the participation of the national pavilion in DSA 2024 comes in line with the Council’s keenness to advance international defense and security cooperation, to learn about the latest technologies in this field, and to provide opportunities for the Council’s member companies to forge new partnerships that will support the UAE defense industry’s competitive edge in the Asian and international markets.
